In 1995, while attending Southwest State University, Shelby began her insurance career as a customer service representative at a small-town agency in Minnesota. In 1997 Shelby moved to Sioux Falls and joined North Central Insurance. Shelby is licensed in Property/Casualty Insurance as well as Life and Health Insurance with the primary focus of writing and servicing personal lines insurance. Shelby obtained her CISR designation in 2001.
When not working, Shelby enjoys cooking, baking, shooting darts and spending time with family and friends.
